A Pentagon official said Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel decided to put off the long-planned test in California until sometime next month because of concerns the launch could be misinterpreted and exacerbate the Korean crisis.

It says that he is wanted for ‘threatening world peace’ and ‘wasting money while his people starve to death.’ They also hacked into NK’s Twitter account and posted a link to the Flickr page.”

Earlier this week we talked about the Kaesong Industrial Complex with a North Korea expert — professor Aidan Foster-Carter from Leeds University. The facility is the North Korean manufacturing base for 120 South Korean firms and is a workplace for Koreans from both sides of the border. The bellicose rhetoric from North Korea is having spillover effects in nearby countries. South Korea continues to press for a revision of its nuclear cooperation agreement with the U.S. in order to allow it to produce its own nuclear fuel, a move the United States has steadfastly resisted. Some South Korean politicians even say the North Korean nuclear threat justifies South Korea having its own nuclear weapons capability. Hawks in Japan, meanwhile, are citing the North Korea threat to boost their argument for increased defense spending.

North Korea says it will restart a nuclear reactor that it shut down six years ago. Pyongyang said it needs to resolve an acute electricity shortage, as well as bolster what it called its nuclear armed force. The move is a further escalation of tension on the Korean peninsula after a series of North Korean threats.

targeted pedophiles,
corrupt governments and
financial institutions, however its latest target may be its most audacious yet. The group says that it has begun a new initiative called “Operation Free Korea” and is demanding controversial leader Kim Jong-un resign and install free democracy in the Asian country. Other demands include having North Korea abandon its nuclear ambitions and for the government to give universal and uncensored Internet access to its citizens. Anonymous hackers claim to have access to the country’s local intranets, mail servers and Web servers and are threatening to wage war if their demands are not met.
